if you carry your baby on your back - how do you keep warm?

went camping over the weekend and for the first time tried out the ergo on my back.
my shoulders and the sides got really cold, I didn*t feel like I could have a coat on.
when I wear dd on the front I wrap us both in my jacket...

I sling ds on my back over my fleece but haven't yet tried him over a winter coat...

I have one of these. OK, not the most stylish of garments but it does keep us both warm.

there are a few babywearing coats - Suse's Kinder and the MamaCoat off the top of my head

I saw a cheap fleece poncho the other day and wondered about just cutting a slit for ds's head...

Eeep! I think I would need to sell my child to afford the coat .

A decent fleece would be my choice.

I bought a Mamajacket because it looks like a normal, tailored coat if you unzip the insert, so you can use it whether you're carrying the baby or not.

I'm selling my Suse's Kindercoat if you are interested? It's red, size medium and is / has been fantastic but we are no longer carrying much so I want to buy a coat just for me!!
