So I have attended slimming world for over a year and I have lost over 2.5 stone

i have to loose half a pound to get to my goal weight.
Recently I have noticed something strange my scales at home are making me about half a stone lighter which means I would be under what I should be.
My partner weighs himself regularly at home and his weight has stayed exactly the same. We have had more than one set of scales in the last year and his weight was the same on the other scales.
what’s everyone’s thoughts on this?

Scales are notoriously variable. You need a third party scale to triangulate.

Are they all of a sudden making you half a stone lighter? Were they matching the slimming world ones at one point?

Yes they matched the slimming world scales last weigh in but not this week.

I had the same thoughts ... when I weigh myself in the bathroom it is after a shower with no clothes on. The scales at SW are different! The lady says her scales are right OP. The SW scales look as though they might be calibrated each week too.

Half a stone is good going though. Have you thought how you actually lose weight? I go to the loo immediately before each SW weigh in. I lose 2lb randonly throughout the week and put it back on again. The lady in front of me last week had lost 9lb on the previous week. We are all different.
