Hiya @Bunny2607
Firstly, well done for joining SW ~ I love that you used the word 'determined' when you stated your intention to do something about your weight
Secondly, I too had misgivings about joining. I am one of the older members and VERY unfit and I thought they would try to get me to do some fitness and/or exercise programme! I was very relieved to find that this, whilst encouraged, is entirely voluntary
I haven't got as much weight to lose as you, but I honestly don't think the amount matters. All the members are there because they have a weight issue and have decided to do something about it so we're all there for the same reasons
After being nervous and apprehensive about it for the first couple of meetings, I now look forward to going.
Some things that are helping me ~
I am trying new recipes - if I enjoy the meal I add it to a list I'm keeping of breakfasts, lunches and dinners so I'm slowly building up a new repertoire of meals
I write a shopping list and pretty much stick to it ~ I avoid the biscuit & chocolate aisles as they are the reason I'm attending SW!!!
I decide at the beginning of each day (sometimes the night before if I'm making overnight oats for breakfast) what my 3 healthy extras are going to be. I also try and add as much free food as I can for my 3 meals and save my SWIPS wherever possible for the evening as that's my danger time!
It's all about making it work for you. Good luck with it all, you'll be SO proud of your achievements and, I know it sounds daft, I love getting my certificates!!!!!
Best wishes
