Starting slimming world again this week, have done slimming world quite a few times now over the years 8 times to be exact. Have had so much going on in my life and food is my go too, i comfort/ binge eat my feeling. I've about 3 stone to loose. Any tips getting back and sticking to it. I need to find me again and gain some confidence

I hope this comes across in a kind way but maybe you should look into figuring out why you turn to food as an emotional support, it may help you stop the cycle of slimming and stopping, slimming and stopping.

I myself eat when bored, I know I’m not hungry but I find myself searching the fridge and cupboards, I’m trying not to, and massively failing. My plan is to get healthy/low calorie snacks in which I know I probably won’t like because they won’t be full of sugar and unnatural ingredients but at least when I do give in and raid the fridge it will be a healthy snack. Perhaps that’s something you could do.

Do you have hobbies or something that could help you during tough times? Friends instead of food you could reach for?

I think the group makes a huge difference. I’m going now for my 3rd time (after each of my babies) and I have found a friendly group and a consultant i like. All the best.

Take a look at rebelfit. Slimming world isn't working if you have to go back time and time again

Yes completely agree trying to figure out why i do that, I've no hobbies to be honest just work and be a mum to 4 children. Want to make time in the new year to do things for me. That's between 4 pregnancys though my youngest daughter is almost 3 so haven't been from before i had her.

Focus on your reasons for wanting to lose weight and decide how important they are to you.

Why do you stop going when you get to target?

Target members attend free so I go along every week and have been doing so for nearly three years now and I have not regained the weight

The meeting I go to is early Saturday morning , it's a busy fun group and Id say about a third of us are target members and we go for the social aspect really . An hour away from family and chores that is just for us. It also helps me keep focussed on eating healthily and any small gains are nipped in the bud quickly
