PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS

Hey,

I'm currently using a PT, I pay for sessions every fortnight, she is planning on leaving the gym and joining a new one very soon, I will not be going to the new gym with her and have 3 sessions booked with her but for some very odd reason she is still expecting me to make payment for the rest of the month when I have no sessions booked with her.
Is this normal? Do other pts do this as well?

In the past when I have been unwell and told her I won't be having any sessions next week due to illness but she still expects me to make payment for the week even when i'm not using her.

Thanks

What are her Ts&Cs?

Booking & Payment: Sessions must be booked in advance. Payment is due prior to or on the day of the session. Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee.
Health & Safety: Clients must disclose any medical conditions or injuries before training. The trainer is not responsible for any injury sustained due to undisclosed conditions.
Liability: Training sessions are undertaken at the client’s own risk. The trainer is not liable for loss, injury, or damage to personal property.
Conduct: Clients are expected to behave respectfully and follow the trainer’s guidance. The trainer reserves the right to refuse service if this is not adhered to.
Privacy: Personal data will be kept confidential and used only for the purpose of providing training services.

Oh and something about 4 weeks notice for cancellations.

I'm on the lookout for a new PT and i'm based in London, do you have any suggestions?

Thank you

The payment due for sessions missed due to illness is standard and understandable.

however charging you when you can’t use her as she has changed gyms is a little more unusual. Could you ask that she attends your current gym with you for those sessions?
