Nibbles for drinks party

It's my turn to host a monthly girls' get-together meet this Friday and this is usually a night totally off plan that really isn't helping my weight loss so keen to provide a low/no syn spread that those not on SW won't feel cheated by or weirded out (so no mini omlettes or weetabix cake) ! I have zero willpower when it comes to this sort of food so just avoiding the bad stuff or eating beforehand isn't the answer😊I will be drinking so want to use my syns for this and not go completely mad.

Usual spread would be cheese, chutneys, biscuits, cheese straws, nuts, dips & crisps, chocolates. What can I provide instead?

Thoughts so far:
Dip & crudites (any decent syn free recipes?)
Salt & chilli Edamame
Padron Peppers

I think that the best thing is to cut the syns down rather than trying to cut them out.

You could do a dip trio to go with crudités

Spinach dip with extra light cream cheese and 0% Greek yogurt, a big wodge of spinach ( that’s the technical term) garlic and little lemon juice if it needs it.

Red pepper humour, can of chickpeas, roasted red pepper, 0% Greek yogurt, garlic lemon juice, paprika, salt

Blue cheese dip, blue cheese, 0% Greek yogurt, chives or spring onion, garlic salt and pepper.

Mix up the crisps so do smaller bowls with popchips and tesco lightly salted tortilla chips as well as crisps

Make some satay skewers with the pinch of non recipe.

There’s also a snack section on the two chubby cubs site you could get some inspiration from.

Cucumber cut into slices with smoked salmon and cream cheese.
Cucumber sliced with beetroot and goats cheese toppings
Gem lettuce with prawns, light mayo and chill sauce

Thanks so much these are great. Yes I’ve accepted this is not going to be syn free or even on plan but I just don’t want to Undo my good week with one night of total excess.

Use quark or zero fat yoghurt to make a tzatziki dip. Loads of different veggies.
Olives
Tomato and low fat mozzarella salad with basil
Lean ham/chicken/turkey
Home made hummus
Prawn and veg skewers
Fruit salad/chopped fruit

Use slices of cucumber as a base and top with primula/smoked salmon etc
