ok so this may seem like a lot of food to some but it’s very little for me and I’m feeling proud that it’s currently 8:38pm and I am still feeling full from my dinner for breakfast I had 2 slices of whole meal bread and a teaspoon of butter spread out onto both slices with 3eggs (I know I ate a lot of eggs today I don’t usually eat much eggs but lately I’ve been in an egg phase and just fancy them all the time) then I had 200g of baked beans with 2 eggs for lunch didn’t finish the beans tho, for snack I had a few strawberries, for dinner I had 2 servings of sushi co op Siracha dragon rolls and m&s katsu and veg sushi, I know it’s loads but for me it’s a big deal my appetite is normally massive I am feeling proud of myself today I can’t believe it’s so late and im not feeling hungry!

This is the idea behind SW, make the choices that will fill you for longer so you arent mindlessly reaching for food

Slowly you will find you are getting by with a much lighter intake, perhaps more food, but more veg and fruits. When I started I never in a million years thought I could go a day without at least 4 slices of bread, now 18months later I rarely touch it. Where before I could demolish half a pack of pasta in one sitting - and wish I had cooked the whole packet, now I get filled on a normal size portion, because now Ive learned to add veg to it

I agree with Suki, the entire principal of SW is, eat as much as you like of the food that make you feel fuller for long, then you not going to be tempted by the other stuff. I also think there is a flip side i.e. When you eat the wrong stuff especially high sugary foods you burn through it within a couple of hours and then the body triggers the brain into thinking your hungry.
