Slimming World - would this be cheeky?

I started SW in the spring with three stone to lose, and I've lost two stone but now I'm stuck. I keep losing the same couple of pounds and then putting them back on. I weigh the same as I did at the start of August. With Christmas approaching, I can't see an improvement any time soon and I'm losing any remaining motivation. I am therefore considering increasing my target weight by half a stone. This is possibly within reach by Christmas if I knuckle down now - only about 5lbs to go instead of 12lbs. I also know damn well that I will put that half stone straight back on over Christmas!

Eventually, in the new year, I would like to go back to pursuing my original target. But I think it will take many months. I feel like I've just been wasting money for the last 4 months as I haven't lost anything. If I sit around my target then I won't need to pay, then if I do manage to lose 3 more pounds then I can just lower my target back to what it was and pay again until I reach the lower target. Does this sound like a good idea or is it a bit cheeky? It's also about the motivation as much as the money - at the moment I feel like quitting altogether but I know I'll absolutely pile it on if I do that.

Not cheeky at all, in fact you might find it gives you the boost you need.
