Slimming World App only scans as SYNS

Just started using the app. When I go to the planner and scan my weetabix it counts it as SYNS when it should/could allocate it as a HE 'b'.

Am I doing something wrong?

What it should do is come up with the hexb symbol and the syns value too. For example you may have weetabix as hex then a slice of wholemeal bread for lunch. You would then have to syn the bread so it will say 1 slice hexb or 5 syns. For example.

I am not so very good at explaining but hope this helps a little.

Did you have enough to be a hex? Usually 40 or 45g

Thanks LeftyLou. I think it was because I was scanning Oatabix...not weetabix....Found the hex on other stuff and it is doing it correctly.
