Really really lazy slimming world dinners

I have a packed week on next week and I know I’m going to struggle for time to prepare dinners. I don’t love the SW ready meals and have 6&3yr old DCs; does anyone have any incredibly easy/quick/lazy dinner ideas? I don’t mind a couple of syns if it saves effort and time!

So far I’m thinking:
Ready to roast chicken and microwave frozen veg packets
Tesco veg chilli (1 syn a can) mixed with micro rice and topped with cheese, then in the oven for a chilli bake
Maybe batch cook something on Sunday?! I know fresh pasta is now free so that could be a quick win with some pre-prep sauce?

More lazy ideas gratefully received! Smile

Jacket potato with beans and cheese.
Could use pre cooked jackets or do in microwave.

I make mushy pea curry which is super easy!

Fry up dinner, Linda mcartney sausages (between free and 2 syns each depending on type), chop and frylight potatoes for chips, baked beans, and fried or scrambled eggs.

Jacket potato.

Stir fry, ready prepped vegetables, stick some rice noodles in hot water to cook. I use soya sauce, a bit of sweet chilli (syns). Or use a packet and syn it.

Couscous, put in a bowl, mix up a stock cube in boiling water pour over and cover. Serve with meat and veg of choice.

Burgers. Iceland do a plant based 1/4 pounder which is 2.5 syns. Use your B choice for the bun, A choice for cheese. Serve with sweet potato chips (Peel and slice then spray with frylight) and a pile of salad.

I had the Aldi slim chicken saag this week with a microwave pouch of rice- 3 syns for a really tasty and filling dinner.

Low fat burgers (normally around 2 syns) with salad and rice or you could have jacket or chips

Steak with loads of veg

Chicken stir fry- sweet chilli sauce is relatively low syn or I'll syn a pre made one

Spicy one-pot prawn pasta (1 syn)

In a casserole or lidded saucepan add:
2 tin of chopped toms, 1 box/jar of Passata, onion & garlic (I used powder as I couldn't even be bothered to fry off first!), liberal salt & pepper, teaspoon of sugar and fresh/frozen/dried basil plus chilli flakes (2 tspns had a little kick but will add 3 next time) plus 500ml of water.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Add 300g pasta bows or similar & oven cook with a lid at 220 for 25-30 mins
Remove from the oven and add raw prawns and 30g Parmesan (HEA) and cook for 4-5 mins until done. If you don't like prawn you could add some cooked chicken or just have it veggie as it's a really thick yummy sauce.

Serve with side salad.

Jacket potato is always my go to for a quick meal. Or a basic tomato pasta. Another thing I do is roast a ton of veg and use that over a couple of days to make various meals, saves a load of time.

You can’t go wrong with a stir fry..or something bunged in the slow cooker,

Brilliant ideas, thank you! I’ve never had the Aldi slim meals but will take a look, love frozen jacket potatoes too!

I make up 3 packets of Aldi essentials rice so have lots in fridge

Add mice and veg

Or frozen cooked chicken pieces that defrost in few hours

Or prawns or ham

Love jackets or salad
