Slimming World

Slimming world and not much time during the day

Hi all

I have a healthy BMI … just.:, but still need to lose a little weight - about 1 stone would do it.

So far I’ve been doing slim fast for a couple of weeks - it has worked and I quite enjoy the shakes but it isn’t a long term thing and I do feel quite hungry.

I would rather use something that would work long term like SW.

But with nursery drop off, and needing to commute into London for work - I don’t have much time during the week to cook breakfasts and lunches. Cooking dinner is fine.

How would SW work and with this? eg could i just have a boiled egg for breakfast? and some chicken sliced and salad (for example) for lunch?

thanks

Yes it would. SW is just normal food though bread is quite restricted I find. There is a thread on here showing what people eat on a day. For example I usually have cereal or toast for breakfast but if I want a sandwich for lunch I'll have egg, bacon, tomato and mushroom. That saves my carb allowance for lunch. Protein and salad for lunch as you suggest would be ideal.

Overnight oats for breakfast
40g porridge oats
200g fat free plain or greek yog
Blubberies / raspberries / strawberries

Make it night before, pop in fridge then mix up and eat in the morning
