I have been going to S W on and off for years ,I am not massively over weight but lose then gain the same stone and a half .When ever I get despondent my DH reminds me that “ if you didn’t go you would probably have put on loads more .”
At the group I now go to, there are two women who are older than me and have been going to SW for 20years without a break,They are really interesting to talk to.They say exactly the same as as above...that although they are not the skinniest in the group, without the regular weigh ins and sticking to the plan most of the time they really would have piled on the weight.They both look a healthy weight, they contribute tips and ideas with a small amount of sarcasm at times ( they have seen it all before !)
Anyone else been a long term member ?
