Slimming world online

I was wondering does anybody do slimming world online and if they do what is it like?

I do and I love it. I've tried groups but didn't really like it. You get a diary page where you add in what you've eaten for each meal, and a snack section too. There's a barcode scanner, and it will tell you how many syns or whether it's free etc. Also a tracker for HexA & HexB. There's a recipe page with hundreds of recipes on there too, and a weight loss tracker. There's also an online community page where you can interact with other online members

I've lost 2 stone using it so far. I think the only downside is that you have to pay up front, you can't pay weekly like at groups

I’ve been doing SW online since March, it works well for me. Like Mylee said, you can use the app/website to track your weight and what you’re eating, lots of recipes, features and success stories, and the community section to chat to other online members. There are regular Zoom calls you can sign up for, at the moment there’s a series called Slim4Xmas. I assume they’re similar to the talk you’d get at a class (microphones are switched off and it’s up to you if you have your camera on or off).

At this point, I probably could just go it alone but I like the community support and I think paying for it helps keep me accountable too.

I signed up yesterday and am starting today. I feel woefully underprepared!

I've just seen something on Facebook saying they are going to be doing activity videos online on the app from mid December.

I think I’d like it online, maybe. Don’t tell me that at groups you don’t get judged. I’ve been to several in-person groups and the looks I have got from the weighing lady when I put on weight.

Lockdown one I did really well, because all the groups were zoomed. The moment I had to go in person all my hard work went out the window.

The organiser of ours puts quite a lot of pressure on you to attend the group but I’m not enjoying it. I find the list of losses and required clapping a bit cringey and tedious and I don’t feel like a get a lot from them.
