What’s Slimming World like nowadays?

I’m currently on WW but I’ve done SW before. I’m considering changing back to SW, just because I feel like a change might kickstart something. I’m very much stuck in a rut with WW and I’m only able to maintain.
But I don’t want to change and then realise I’ve made a mistake. What’s SW like at the moment? Are face to face meetings back on? Or virtual meetings? Does SW have an app where you can track what you eat nowadays?

Maybe check out their website, it might have more up to date info on there

The website’s rubbish, it’s not much help at all. And the mobile number they gave for my local leader didn’t work. Was hoping that someone on here might be attending currently to give me an insider’s view.

Groups are back face to face, or you can do it online. I prefer weighing in at group but i dont stay for the meeting. If you go to group for weigh in, its free when you get to target, but its not if you do online. 4st gone and 1 to go! Good luck

Groups are back to face to face and there is an app where you can track it all now! Think there’s a voucher for free membership atm

Thanks both!

There is an app now when you can track your meals and count syns. It also has a barcode scanner, a lot more user fiendly than it used to be.

I did it online ladt year with good success.
I had no desire to attend a group - not my thing at all - but I found the strructure helpful and am still using lots ofv the recipes even though I'm nit dieting as such now. People had led me to believe that there would be lots of weird recipes full of sweetener and strange ingredients. There were a few like that, but not many, most of it seemed like fairly standard healthy and fairly low calorie meals really.

It's face to face, starting to bring back refreshments and raffle etc.

The food plan is very straightforward. I've lost a lot. I'm struggling with the last stone now though.

I've just joined. I last went to WW about 4 yrs ago, and it seems to me that SW have now got a lot more flexible than they used to be (from conversations with friends who were attending) I'm quite impressed so far.
