Hello everyone! I’ve decided to get back on SW but am pretty bored of overnight oats. Does anyone have any good ideas of breakfasts ( preferably veggie) that can be taken into work as I start at 7:30 so can’t eat before I go. Thank you!

You could make a batch of SW breakfast muffins - like these ones

banana pancakes]]

breakfast quiche and if you use Linda Mcartney red onion and Rosemary sausages they are syn free

Yoghurt and fresh fruit

I usually go for eggs of some sort or the chocolate Weetabix to get my HEs out of the way

Yogurt, banana, blue berries, strawberries and walnuts mixed together. One boiled egg.

Squishable · 13/09/2021 20:48

Good idea with the quiche! I had thought about the muffins but was worried I’d end up eating them all 🙂

Yep! It's the mini weetabix chocolate flavour thing. I believe you get 40g allowance, no sugar needed and the cereal and milk come out of your HEs

I start work at 7:15 and take my breakfast with me. I have overnight oats, yoghurt and fruit, cereal with berries and milk (buy a mixture of different cereal to mix it up rather than same old one every time), eggs and/or beans on wholemeal toast, the omelette quiche things are great. I’ve not done muffins as I would eat the lot 😂

Squishable · 15/09/2021 07:13

@Lifeispassingby totally agree the muffins would be a gateway to me gorging! I will definitely still do overnight oats but think mixing it up might help motivate me a bit more. I think I’ve just got into a bit of a rut. @samwitwicky loved the weetabix can’t believe it! Will have to leave them at work so they aren’t raided by the family at home!

Either grapefruit and fruit salad. Prepared the night before so just grab out if fridge or 2 x hard boiled eggs which I do get bored of but they fill me up Grin

At home I usually have the same or a cooked breakfast

DaphneDeloresMoorhead · 16/11/2021 19:59

I love Greek yoghurt topped with aldi frozen black cherries and 1 tbsp sweet freedom fruit syrup which I think is 1 syn

Just back on again - more as a way to eat vegetables again as I have become decidedly beige in the last month.

I've been having 2 eggs (boiled or poached) and a slice of WM toast. x

If you have a microwave at work you can make lunchbox omelette. In a microwavable / tupperware / glass dish with a lid, crack 2-3 eggs, whisk, bung in whatever veg you have hanging around (onions, mushrooms, tomatoes etc) then microwave for 3 mins when you get to work. Omelette in a lunchbox. I often make up a few of these on a Sundat night to have in the fridge to grab for a quick omelette, whether at work or home.
