I've just started at SlimmingWorld. I can't believe how much weight I've got to lose but I'm determined to do it.
I am going out to a Thai restaurant at the weekend. What do people recommend to eat? I really want to stay on plan if at all possible.
All suggestions gratefully received.

I’d stay away from they curries they tend to use coconut milk and are very high syn.

Things like chicken satay are usually a good choice or any other meat with minimal sauce.

Stick to plain noodles or rice (but expect the noodles will have oil on them)

Thank you, that's helpful.

Plain rice 0 syns

Chicken safest as wont be fatty

Most curries will have coconut milk and butter but you can pick the meat out to avoid being hit hard

Some thai places have an unbattered spicy seafood platter with dipping sauce, should be low syn!

Pad thai will be oily but have lots of vegetables.

Stick to gin and slimline rather than wine, 3.5 syns usually, or prosecco some can be 4syns

Try to have a big lunch of free food so you're not starving and tempted to make irrational choices!

Good luck!
