Hi all, I just had my second a year ago and due to lockdown at the end of pregnancy and limited options of going out since, I haven't lost the weight as fast. My BMI is 23 and I need to lose a stone to get back to 20 on my BMI. I am still breastfeeding and finding i am always hungry. Obviously I need to eat to produce milk and I always hold on to some weight when BFing. Would anyone suggest doing it down or waiting until I stop? What evening snacks could I get away with?

I’m currently breastfeeding and you can increase your quota of HexA when feeding this way. SW suggest having 4 portions of HexA - I have babybels, apple and cheese (don’t knock it til you’ve tried it!), maybe a milkshake or hot chocolate.

@BB142831 do you know what the advice is for breastfeeding an older child. I’m still feeding DD2 who has just turned 2 and doesn’t usually feed more than 3 times a day. Would I still need to extra healthy extras?

You have less hexs when the baby is not ebf. It's one extra hexa in the guidance I've got when the baby is over 6 months.

This is prior to everyone getting two hexas though, my baby is 5 now!
