Hi all,
I did Fitness Pal a few years ago and lost 2 stone. I have put on so much weight since then and wanted to try SW as a few friends have done it and seen great results. My problem is if I do SW then I can eatlre calories and still lose weight? For example I could eat weetabix and then rice, chicken and veg and snack on fruit and low syn yoghurt as well as a dinner and chocolate in the evenings as long as in syns? Where as now I have weetabix, some fruit, dinner and chocolate but constantly snack. Hence the weight gain. So id be eating more calories but lose weight? Is it worth it?

You won’t lose weight if you eat more calories than you burn off, no diet works that way but SW encourages you to fill up on lower calories items and calories that fill you up quicker such as protein and carbs rather than fats and sugar.

I have previously had great results with MFP but in hindsight I was almost starving myself of nutritious foods in order to save calorie for the white bread and chocolate. Slimming World allows everything but there is a syn value to anything not overly nutritious.
