So re started SlimmingWorld a couple of weeks ago and determined to not get stuck in a rut so trying some different recipes.

This week so far I have tried two new recipes from the books and they were really disappointing.

We had pork in a mustard sauce and spring greens and tonight I made Ants in a tree from the new pasta & noodle recipe book. The ants in a tree looked completely different to the photo and tasted quite bland even though it had fresh herbs and chilli ginger etc.

The pinch of nom books are great for low syn recipes. We had Tuscan chicken tonight using Philadelphia lightest, a really good week night healthy dinner ( now I can use syns for a curly Wurly Smile)

Yes to the pinch of nom books. Crispy chilli beef, Tuscan chicken, chicken and leek pasta bake are all lovely. I use the books a couple of days a week.

Bacon, squash and sweet potato stew
Carrot and coconut dhal
Both from SW website

The Slimming Eats website is brilliant for SW friendly recipes, from SW themselves I do find them hit and miss, but I use the Chilli one from 50 greatest book but halve the seasonings x

I find the recipes in the magazine far better than those in the books. I also second the suggestion above of slimmingeats blog - everything I have made from there has been brilliant.
