SW while breastfeeding

Hello! Looking for some advice on doing SW while breastfeeding. Does it work well? I need to lose at least a stone but I'm constantly starving and not getting much sleep so anything too restrictive would make me miserable. DD is 7 weeks - is that an ok time to start or should I wait til she's a bit older? Thanks 😊

I started around then, I lost just over a stone in about 12 weeks by not really trying. Had 5 A choices per day aswell

For breastfeeding it sounds like as good a diet as any, based on 'free' foods, fruit veg and lean meat/veg. Worth checking with your go first though.

It's the same plan, but with more Healthy Extras (ideally As).
I found there were always lots of lovely people willing to hold DD while I weighed in, but as she got older she wouldn't put up with staying to group.

If you only need to lose a stone, up your exercise and eat plenty of fresh vegetables, rather than limit your calorie intake or eat processed crap.

Found it worked really well. Started when baby was 5 months, lost 3 stone in 4 months. Never felt hungry, had the opportunity for little treats. Breastfed the whole time. Lots of healthy extras for breastfeeding make it very doable.
Btw, I didn’t eat all the SW “processed crap”. I used syns for a small amount of olive oil and butter rather than use frylight, and found ways to have delicious filling free meals so that I could save syns for proper chocolate treats rather than “diet” choices. I didn’t want to eat processed stuff because I don’t normally and because I was breastfeeding I was even more precious about that.

I did it when my little one was about 5 months (didn't have the motivation before then!) and lost nearly 2 stone and got below my pre pregnancy weight.
I'm currently pregnant again and planning to do it again post baby (plus I have more to lose this time! 😬)

Thanks for all the replies. Sounds ideal. Wish me luck!

From what I remember from breastfeeding SWs - I believe you are 'allowed' to eat more if you see what I mean. If you go to a class they can tell you or maybe ask online?
