Hi I've done slimming world in the past and had great results. During lockdown the weight has crept back on.
I know the rules and how it works, I had 15 syns last time but didn't use them all most days, sometimes saved them for the weekend wineSmile
I understand now we can have 2 x HEA? So double the A's?? More cheese?? If this is true that's great!!
Also can anyone tell me how many syns a tin of mackerel in sunflower oil is please?
TIA

Yes, you can now have more cheese!
The Extra Easy SP plan is now a maximum of 10 Syns per day rather than the previous five to 15 guidance.
Some products, including reduced-fat/light soft cheese and soft goat's cheese, are also no longer classed as HEs. They are now synned.
A handful of Free Foods have lost their P symbols – baked beans, broad beans, mung beans and all varieties of peas (except split peas)
Not sure right now of the mackerel in oil. Sorry

Thankyou that's helpful! So less syns but more cheese😀
I think I will probably have to pay to join again to get the new rules, even tho I have all the old books!

I've just joined online again @DontDoItGeorge despite having all the old books - there is £20 off free membership at the moment, so I paid £40 for 3 months. Website/app seems much better than what I remembered (it has been a long time!) so I think it is worth it.

Mackerel in sunflower oil (125g drained) is between 0.5 to 1.5 syns depending on the brand.

Thankyou @Stoichio that's helpful,
I found a £15 off with womansweekly. Where did you find £20 off?

@DontDoItGeorge - on the SW website itself - part of the new government initiative. I think the code was RESET2020

Stoichio · 30/07/2020 23:26

Just noticed I put in £20 off free membership - oops!

Thanks that's helpful
