Apologies as there's probably been loads of similar threads but can't find one.

Rejoined sw (again Blush) a few months ago. About 2 and a half stone to lose. But I need lunch ideas! I get half an hour for lunch at work and have access to a microwave and a fridge. I'm not a fussy eater, I like most things. Just needs to be something filling to get me through the afternoon at work. Suggestions please Smile

I like salads so they are my go to lunches. You can chuck anything in meat/fish pasta/rice/cous cous/potatoes to make it filling then salad bits I like to add a bit of mayo just make sure you syn it. You could take last nites left overs as you have access to microwave like bolognaise/curry anything like that.

I make a quorn pasta/chilli/curry the night before for our evening meal, and put some in a container to take to work for lunch the next day. Or I will take a salad (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, celery, radishes) and add tuna/boiled egg/ham to it, with a fat free Greek yoghurt and an apple. In the winter, I sometimes take a flask of homemade vegetable soup made with mixed vegetables plus butter beans and barley to make it filling.

I used to take a Mugshot and a Mullerlite but they're no longer free!! So meal prep takes longer but I think I'm healthier for it.

I used to take a big container of cooked veg, sprinkle cheese on top and reheat. You could also take a wrap? But using one egg , beaten then cooked in the frying pan really thin and use as a wrap

Jacket potatoes? Pre bake a load and stick them in the fridge, take one with your topping and some salad and heat at work?

At the moment I'm either cooking extra dinner the night before and taking in leftovers - veggie curry, dhal, bolognaise, crustless quiche and having salad/extra veggies with it or baking a few extra potatoes and having one with beans and salad.
Just had crustless quiche here for lunch so have a couple of portions stashed in the fridge for Monday and Tuesday 👍😊
