Venue vs online??

Hi all,

I'm thinking of signing up to SW but dont know anything about it. DP says online is just getting free meal ideas (which you can Google for free) so I'm best dragging my fat arse to a venue where I'll be shamed into losing weight Grin

Are venues better? I'm quite a shy person and would be going myself. I appreciate all info and advice.

I am quite shy and went by myself and it was fine, they have a welcome area- group of chairs for new people. I tried online before that but found that and staying to group gave me extra will- power. From reading other posts I am luckily to have a good friendly group with a caring leader.

I go to group because I know if I don't I just won't stick to the plan, the groups are surprisingly helpful and welcoming.

You get to know the regulars and soon will become comfortable, give it a go and see how u feel xxx

I rejoined on the 11 January and because I’ve got no child care I did consider the online option but I then message the consultant who told me not to worry about my toddler running around. So far I’ve only stayed to group when I signed up just because it stresses me out watching ds run around but I need someone to be accountable to hence I chose joining a group as opposed to online.

And there is no shaming at group just bags of support
