Hi, does anyone else feel nervous about the diet working just don't trust it. Seem to lose more weight if I cut things out like bread.

In what way do you not trust the plan?

I rarely eat bread now and use my B choice on lots of other things.

I am a target member so I do follow a different plan now, but in November, I focused on losing my excess weight and lost 5lb in 4 weeks. It's a lifestyle change and learning what works for your body.

Elbacar · 29/12/2019 06:05

Thanks for replying, I don't trust the plan because I'm nervous to, I ate mostly s.w.meals 1 week and put on 1/2 lb I thought I'd been good. Still working out what's right for me,trying my best to do the plan right.

Hi I don't do messenger as I just don't have time. Share some of your daily menus as there could be something you haven't realised isn't free. I was speaking to someone at group who hadn't realised that cornflour wasn't free.

My usual routine is 3 meals with free and speed foods. Some carbs and then the healthy extras and my syns.

Elbacar · 29/12/2019 19:31

Ok.today I had 1 weetabix with banana raspberries blueberries and skimmed milk. Lunch was chicken breast and vegetables and dinner was a little more chicken with stir fry free and 1/2 jacket potatoe.with little stock pot gravy. Drinks coffee and Diet lemonade. I might have a hifi bar and a apple later for now I'm content.

Keep going, I'm sure it will be off soon. Sometimes it takes our bodies a few weeks x

Elbacar · 30/12/2019 15:30

Sure your right I'm inpatient though. It's my weigh in today

It took me 21 months to lose 5.5st. I've kept it off for 21 months so far. For me it was a marathon not a race.

spacepoppers · 30/12/2019 23:04

I do trust the plan, however I have come to realise that some people are more sensitive than others to things such as carbs, so I could be 100% on plan but not lose much at all if I overdo it on pasta or plain jacket potatoes. I up my speed foods and boom, the weight disappears

It's under the weight loss topic of mumsnet.

goldenorbspider · 03/01/2020 09:56

Sw is so strange. I went to a meeting and the overweight leader told people if they've gained weight it's because they're not eating enough Grin

HeyMac · 03/01/2020 10:00

I would actually agree with that. I don't lose if I don't eat a fair bit of food!

I'm the same, I find I need to eat to lose weight, like it kick starts my metabolism.

Saladd0dger · 03/01/2020 11:28
