Can anyone give me some ideas of things they take to work for lunch?
I have never been a sandwich sort of person for lunch (at least not with a paacked of crisps!!!)
I was having salads but I'm not feeling them now the weather has turned all horrible. Soups never seem to fill me up.

I get Tesco base mix out of the freezer for £1. Then cook it up with rice or cous cous then add some meat in. That way I can eat it cold or warm.
Leftovers of pasta or risotto is good for me.
Egg muffins are a favourite to snack on if I'm not getting the full 30 minutes to eat.

I'm always wary of eating anything too carb heavy at lunhtime as it tends to hinder my weight loss.

I like making more substantial salads like pasta with pesto, prawns, olives, tomatoes, pine nuts. Also brown rice with feta cheese, chickpeas, tomatoes, cucumber etc. If you make a soup with lots of lentils or pulses and bring a big wholemeal roll you'll definitely be very full. Oh, I've just seen this is related to slimming world and I've no idea if my recipes would work...

I discovered Bol Thai Green Curry in Sainsburys that you put in the microwave for 4 syns. Am eating it now and is nice.
Otherwise I have tried to bring in leftovers from dinner (like stew) where possible or make cous cous, peas and chicken.
If I have soup I might take in metcalfe's skinny popcorn for 3.5 syns to fill me up.
Am only on my second week but when I used to do SW before I would struggle with lunches the most. So many bad temptations around, so this time going to bring in good food so that I don't feel like I'm depriving myself!

There's a recipe for carrot and coriander soup which is free and very filling, it has beans in it. If you had a wholemeal roll with that you would definitely stay full. I used to like taking baked beans with me to work, so heat up the beans, add some cheese and take some bread to dip? Kept me full for ages.

Home made soups
Jacket potato and tuna (hopefully you've got a microwave)
Pasta with a bolognaose type sauce

I like chunky chicken salads, tomato, red pepper and bean stew, or chunky soups followed by a banana. Also Couscous and chicken. Or leftover meat stew or bolognaise without potatoes or pasta.

No idea about slimming world I'm afraid but I like wraps (not a big fan of sandwiches either). Ideas for wraps: chicken, tuna, hummus & alt sort of veggies (I like carrot for example). I also take a yoghurt in case I'm still hungry or an apple/banana

Jacket sweet potato with various fillings
Left overs
I make frittata which microwaves ok
Heinz bean sensations
