Slim World app as useful as WW when out and about?

Hi there

I need to lose some weight. I have been successful with WW before but want to give Slimming World a go now as I think it will work better with family meals. ie. pasta, potatoes etc However, I work full time and use high street healthy fast food outlets eg Pret A Manger as well as supermarket brands a lot, which I found WW really good for as I could scan / search the items and it would add the points to the app. Is SW as good? Also, I don't have much time to cook so recipes are less useful - I need whatever I use to work 'on the go!'

The SW app is pretty crap compared to WW or MyFitnessPal. I do manage to use the syn search on it though and since they added healthy extras I've found it a lot better.

Thanks. Do they have high street food items on the app?

Yes. They have the majority of supermarkets and brands on there. There's also a syn calculator to calculate any you can't find.
