Was told about this in group today:the challenge is to walk, run, cycle or swim 50 miles in August.
Members in my group seemed enthusiastic; some are doing it as a sponsored thing.
I'm planning mine as walking, as I like having a specific goal, and will keep a track of my progress.
Hope to try the Country Walking magazine Walk 500 miles, and will start this concurrently: the SW challenge starts on Sunday 4th August.
Just wondering what others are doing, as my Consultant said that it's being promoted in all groups this week.
My plan is to track the walking that I wouldn't otherwise have done, ie won't be tracking a day at work, etc.
