Does anyone fast on the weigh in days?

I joined SW last week and tonight is my first weigh in. I'm so nervous! I know I've lost weight as I weighed myself this morning on scales in my bathroom but my meeting is in the evening when I tend to be around 1.5lb heavier as it's right after tea.

I feel like I should fast for the afternoon. Does anyone else do this?

Don't do that your only kidding yourself you lose what you lose starving yourself for an afternoon may give u an extra pound on the scales but it's not healthy mind or body.

No, otherwise you'll have to do it every week and its not a good habit. Also you'll be really hungry afterwards and more likely to pig out knowing you've got another week till weigh-in.

I go to a morning weigh in specifically to avoid this. I appreciate its not possible for everyone, but i eat my usual dinner and afters the night before, then nothing until breakfast after weigh in at 9. If I had an evening weigh in I would probably not eat all day before then binge afterwards.

Surely if your starter weigh in was at the same time you'd just eaten then too, so it won't make any difference.

I wear the same outfit... I have breakfast and lunch and a yoghurt at 2.30pm then don't drink after then either as 750mls puts on 2lb for me.

I get weighed in the morning, I don't eat beforehand but that's usually because I'm pushed for time. I take a banana/apple with me and eat that while I wait for group to start after being weighed.

I think everyone that goes to morning weigh ins sits skips breakfast until after, then sits and eats overnight oats and other portable foods during the meeting. I can't imagine fasting all day for an evening weigh in. If I miss the early one and go at noon, I can't even last that long.
