Help me get back on the wagon

Please help me get back on the wagon fellow slimming world Mumsnet people.

I fell off over Easter, now I'm back on the sugar. I have lost almost 2 stone since January so don't want to put it back on.

I'm still eating healthy meals but it's the snacking in-between....and I'm so over yogurt!

Any recommendations for quick low syn snacks to satisfy my sweet tooth?

Thanks xx

I sometimes snack on dry cereal as my HE B. Or dried fruit.

It’s really hard, but try to snack on boiled eggs, chicken, ham, babybel lights.

But I find that if I really am craving something sweet then it’s best to just eat it (one 3 syn biscuit) and then move on with your day, otherwise you’re more likely to think about sweet things all day and then maybe binge and eat too much of it!

Don’t fall off the wagon - you’ll really regret it.

But if you’re really desperate for a quick sugar fix, then party rings are 1 syn each!

Party rings and babybel, great tips thanks. I've given myself a little break and said I'm starting a fresh tomorrow. After I've now eaten all the sugary treats in the house haha. I've recently gone back to work and DD isn't sleeping well so I'm exhausted and been a bit lazy. I can feel the weight creeping back in so got to get back on it!

I’m struggling too. I’ve lost a stone since Jan and I’m also finding the meals easy. Tonight I had BBQ style chicken and salad which was lovely. I’ve made a massive tuna salad for my packed work lunch tomorrow. But afternoon and evening I find it really hard to resist eating snacks. I’ve even started to go to bed really early to try to stop my snacking. I’m not hungry, it’s just that I like the feeling of eating!

I love being slimmer and feel so much better about myself, so that’s what to try to keep thinking of. It’s so easy to put weight on and so hard to lose it, so let’s try to keep that in mind and keep on it.
