Hi! I'm hoping somebody can help me. I'm planning on joining a brand new club on 24th April but have decided not to wait but to just start on my own before then. So, I understand most of it and can usually find the Syns for stuff by googling but I'm struggling with the HE choices. Is it 1 or 2 A and 1 or 2 B. It seems to keep changing. Also, I'm very large (over 20st) does this affect things at all or is it the same for everybody? Thanks for answering Smile

It's 2 x A and 1 x B now, same for everyone. You may be allowed more syns now.

Great, thank you!!

Your syns would be different for your weight. Everyone has the same healthy extras allowances as these are your calcium and fibre recommended daily amounts.

I think over 20 stone is 20 syns

Groovee · 11/04/2019 16:05

Up to 16 stone is 15 syns, up to 20 stone is up to 20 syns and over 20 syns is 25 syns a day.

Ok that's fab! I'm only just over 20 st so don't think I'll bother getting used to 25. I actually find that I feel much worse if I've had a biscuit or a bar of chocolate..... I just want more whereas if I pretty much stick to my free foods I'm not that bothered. Do you find that?

Grumpy - wish you well on your food plan journey, you can do it, stay focussed.

Thank you @edgen2019 I think I need to get to class to feel like I've started properly.

@grumpyyetgorgeous - we get those packs of treat size chocolate bars (crunchie, curly wurly, chomp etc). They're only 3 syns each and enough for you to feel you've had something nice.
