Two healthy extra as - MEH

Anyone else struggling with the two healthy extra as? I don't take milk in my tea and would usually have some milk if I choose cereal for hexb and have a wee pinch of cheese with lunch or dinner. Now with the two hexas I know I will struggle, was thinking of having two home made lattes to get milk allowance in and then have a portion of cheese? (On days where I'm not having cereal as hexb) I don't really wanna have two portions of cheese in one day I feel like I'll not loose then!

Snap! I’m not really sure how you’re supposed to approach it if you’re dairy intolerant or just not a big fan of the stuff.

I bought some Greek fat free yoghurt hoping to fill in that column but turns out it’s free anyway.

Do any experienced slimming worlders know if they are strict on using both heA every day?

DwangelaForever · 04/01/2019 16:35

@fleecedetective I know you can use dairy alternatives but that's still loads in a day! It's hard going! I had my 250mls of milk with coffee and hot water like a poor man's flat white in a big mug it was ok but my stomach is sore now lol I'm not used to so much milk!!

You dont have to have them if you dont want to? Thats my understanding of if anyway

Groovee · 04/01/2019 22:25

Interestingly I had 2 daily last week and lost 2.5lb. Some days I have double cheese. Or macaroni cheese made with cornflour/142mls milk and 55g reduced fat cheese for 1 syn. Most days I try to have cheese and milk. But today I had 2 lots of cheese.

WillowUfgood · 04/01/2019 22:33

Loving it personally. I drink lots of tea throughout the day so that's 1 A choice sorted, and I love cheese too so get to enjoy it more often without having to save my syns for it. Having to syn lasagne all the time (It's rare I sacrifice my tea!) was annoying lol

I love this change. I like the milk in my cereal in the morning and cheese on my evening meal.Grin

DwangelaForever · 05/01/2019 08:50

@Groovee that is good! I'm gonna try to get both in, only managed one yesterday cause i forgot to add cheese to my dinner lol. I made a poor man's flat white with my 250ml semi skimmed heated in my big mug with some coffee and topped up the cup with boiling water, was quite nice!

If SW was working perfectly well for you with just 1 HEA then stick with that. Drinking extra milk/ eating extra cheese is not a magic formula.

FiveNightsAtMummys · 06/01/2019 23:38

Could you add milk or maybe even cheese to mash potatoe? Trying to think of other meals you could add some milk / cheese in. Scrambled egg? I don't use my full milk allowance and I've had a loss every week apart from Xmas where I ate like my life dependended on it.

FiveNightsAtMummys · 06/01/2019 23:39

Hot chocolate?

PenelopeParallelogram · 06/01/2019 23:43

Try moving to full fat milk for cereal and coffee, think it's 170ml for 1 A choice.
I'm currently breastfeeding so get 4x A choices per day...

Mossyhill · 06/01/2019 23:46

I only use them if I need/want them. Sometimes I find them easy to use other days I struggle.

OwlinaTree · 07/01/2019 22:52

Full fat is 200ml now according to the app.

Applejack87 · 09/01/2019 21:51

Can we double up on the milk allowance for the A hex?if not having anything else
