How to stay on plan over Christmas

I have lost 16 pounds so far in 3 months on slimming world. I'm doing well at the moment but worried about my will power over Christmas.

Friends have already gave us treats so far we have 3 boxes of chocolates, 1 big tray of Ferraro Roche's, 1 box of biscuits, 2 bags of chocolates and a large cake.

I have already decided to not count too much on Christmas Day so that's a write off but it's more the rest of the time with all that chocolate in the home.

My willpower is crap, but my forte seems to be giving out good advice I don't take so here goes! I divided most of my Christmas treats into bags of 10 syns, then allowed myself one bag a day.

You don't need willpower on SW, as you don't need to go hungry.
You could exercise choice power and donate the chocolate and biscuits to a food bank.

I’m doing lots of healthy choices to allow me to use all my syns and more for drinks
I’m expecting to gain 3-4 pounds
Xmas eve is always a special meal night for us but am doing it all SW
Out of the festive sw recipe book I’ve made the pork terrine for starter
Main is whole salmon served with the butternut squash and cheesy spinach bake accompanied by tender stem broccoli and asparagus
Dessert is the SW chocolate soufflés
Xmas day chicken and venison with all the veg SW friendly eg cauliflower cheese made with quark and tiny bit of Parmesan, red cabbage from SW festive book
There will be a few syns in the stuffing and gravy but even my pigs in blankets are diet sausages wrapped in lean bacon medallions
We are usually too full for dessert but sometimes have pud in the evening with nothing else and that will have too many syns to count
