2 meals out in first week

Stupidly joined SW this week and later realised I have two meals in the diary with pre-ordered food; one being a turkey Xmas dinner (tomorrow) and lasagne at an Italian the night before weigh in, next Thursday.
What would you do?? Obviously I'm being really careful with syns now, as in limiting them so I have more for the meals.

Would you only eat half the lasagne on Wednesday?
I'm really fearful that in my first week I'll put weight on

It’s not ideal but not end of the world. Be absolutely on plan for rest of week, and perhaps exercise a bit more - and on the night be sensible, but essentially eat the meal.

Enjoy your planned meals out: it's just two meals out of 21 in the week.
But draw a line and remain in control for the rest of the week.
Your first week's loss might not be quite as high as it might otherwise have been, but I bet you will still see good results.
Sometimes, life gets in the way, especially at this time of year, when celebrations are based around food, but the key is to stay in control: enjoy those flexible syns, then get back on plan.

I’ve had three meals out this week, and I’ve lost 2lb.
When I started in March, I decided that the only way to do this was to still enjoy myself. So every single chance I get to be good, I’m good. But when a meal with friends comes up, or a holiday or a special event, I have a good time.
I’ve lost 2.5 stone so far, am I’m still completely motivated.
It’s always a good time to start. I think it’ll stop you going too nuts at your meals out...but enjoy too!
