Dairy free milks

Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations on a dairy free milk that tastes good in tea? I’ve tried almond milk, but thought it made my tea just taste watery and a little bit salty.

If possible I’m looking for one that I can use as a healthy extra. I’ve had the oatly chocolate milk as a drink before and it’s yummy, but I don’t know what their standard milk is like and whether it’s a healthy extra. There just seem to be so many options out there now, I don’t know where to start!

I’m after dairy free milk as I’m a vegan, not because of any allergies etc.

TIA everyone!

Thanks Chwaraeteg

Do you know if I can use it as one of my healthy extras and if so how much?

Oatly Barista you can have 200ml as your healthy extra A.

Definitely oatly barista!

Yep any oat milk really is the closest to the creamy taste you get with dairy milk. Your tea will still look darker though but it's a decent sub.

Thanks for the recommendation, I’m drinking a cuppa with some oatly barista as part of my healthy a and it is far better than the almond milk!
Thanks everyone 😊
