Fat free fromage frais

I think there must be a national shortage of this stuff yet it is nearly every SW recipe I try!!
Honestly every supermarket in my town doesn't have any and hasn't since I started SW.
Any ideas what I can use instead? Is natural yogurt kind of the same thing?
I'm going to play with my new soup maker today and all the yummy soups need fromage frais!!

I buy it no problem in Tesco and Asda. Would it be worth asking at their customer service desks. I get it at the yoghurt area next to natural yoghurts.

It's weird I'm always asking and it's always out of stock - maybe everyone in my area is on slimming World 😂

I use quark or fat free Greek yogurt instead and never had any problems. Just add them off the heat so they don't split

I have made curries with fat free natural yoghurt ( not soup, but similar cooking method).
The Yeo Valley one has a nice creamy flavour.
As a PP said, you need to add it at the end, off the heat, or it tends to separate: still tasty, but looks unappetising.

Thank you Thanks
