Can't get back in target after surgery

Just that really.
Had breast op three just over three weeks ago ( cosmetic but major surgery), and despite keeping to plan, I have put four and a half pounds on, taking me a pound out of target range; can't seem to lose that pound, despite all my usual tricks: SP meals, etc.
I can't do my usual exercise for a few more weeks, and I wonder if it's just that my metabolism as been knocked off balance.
I look bloated, too, with a protruding belly!
Anyone else had experience of this, and how long did it last for?

Hi, I also had surgery 6 weeks ago to repair a hernia and I've gained 8lbs over those few weeks. I'm not at target yet, I was 1lb away from my 4st award and now its slipping away from me again!

It can take a few months for your body to recover and return to normal after surgery and a GA. In my case I've not been able to exercise and not been able to get out of the house much at all really so have probably been eating too much out of boredom/feeling sorry for myself! I'm trying to be kind to myself at the moment, its just a bump in the road and I will get around it, it just might take a bit longer than I had hoped.

There's no rush though, just keep trying to make good choices and you will get there!
