Micro meals

Hi all
Are the slimming world micro meals any good? I want a week off cooking so am thinking of getting some.
The morroccan meatball one looks nice but I was so disappointed in the weight watchers ones that I am too scared to pay out for these!

Disgusting, watery gloop.
ChipsNotDaddy · 10/09/2018 12:33
Just as I feared :(
I just dont have time to cook!
HollyBollyBooBoo · 10/09/2018 12:35
Totally minging! I'd rather not eat!
SlimmingMumOf1 · 10/09/2018 13:16
So far, the slimming world meals I've tried are:
Lasagna (it is OK.. not the best)
Fish pie (was absolutely vile! Thank god it's been discontinued)
Vegetable burgers ( these were disgusting)
Chicken tikka masala (tasted bland, so needed to add some spices into it)
Vegetable biriyani (this was the worse, most FOUL meal I've ever had. It was so dry as well, I binned it after a couple of mouthfuls!)
Quarter pounder burgers (nice but very dry)
I've yet to try:
chana saag
sausages
Smokey bean quarter pounders
So far, it isn't looking promising is it

Pretty rank as above. Might be better cooked in the oven but microwaved are just soggy and tasteless.
The lasagne is the best I have tried so far and the chana saag is ok.
Get some frozen jacket potatoes and salad with tuna/beans/tinned mackerel. They're my go tos.
MummytoCSJH · 10/09/2018 13:22
Lasagne is okay, the paella is okay and I enjoy the beef and veg crush. Theyre much better done in the oven.

I really like the vegetable burgers and the biryani...also I’ve never found the biryani dry...
I mean they’re the only vegetarian ones I actively like, but they’re nice.
I can eat the others, but they’re only ok rather than nice.
Can’t help you with the meat.

I've tried the chicken saag, it is quite nice.

The Chinese banquet rice is lovely!

I made a sausage and bean casserole last night (recipe by tastefullyvikkie) and they were very lovely (the sw sausages). Everyone has been complaining they taste like rubber, but I think if they're cooked inside a sauce or some sort of stock, they will stay soft. I would definitely get them again but for casseroles only :)
