Hello! I’m 100% new to Slimming World, and I’m doing my first shop this weekend so I can get started properly on Monday.

I have a rough idea of the basics and have started the list below, but I’d love some extra ideas from those of you who know your stuff!

So far I have:

Fry Light
Passata
Eggs
Lean Chicken
Lean Mince
Brown Rice
Brown Pasta.....

Please share your SW discoveries with me!

I always have in the fridge,
Ham, oranges, pears, strawberries, melon, raspberries to snack on as they’re all speed apart from the ham which is free. Also snack cucumbers and mini peppers are good to have. Babybel can be a good hexa choice if you like them. Weetabix, shreddies, tomato puree, mushrooms, eggs! X

Fat free Cottge cheese is also great to make crustless quiche x

Quark!

Very versatile. You can add a hot chocolate options to make a sort of chocolatey dip for fruit etc or add cheese, onions, chives etc for a savoury sauce for stuffing pasta/JP.

Grapes to go on the freezer. I LOVE frozen grapes at the moment, so refreshing

Lots and lots of veg

raisedbyguineapigs · 07/08/2018 20:36

Oats. I don't like porridge but I love baked oats. They make my hex B last for longer. Also you can make overnight oats. 0% yoghurt. I have plain but you can get lots of free fruity ones. Tinned fish in tomato sauce. Delicious quick lunch with a salad or ryvita.

My favourite discovery is Finn Crisp crackers. Think you can have 6 for your HeB. Love them with a cheese triangle (Laughing Cow, HeA) and Marmite.

Ryvita fruit crunch. I top with banana and strawberries and if no strawberries nectarine. I have seen people top it with quark and blueberries.

SnobblyBobbly · 08/08/2018 11:30

Thanks everyone! I’d never heard of quark so I’ll definitely give that a go and all the snack tips - I need plenty of those!
