Hello :)

I am currently trying to lose weight and although I have no desire to follow a SW plan, I would like to go along to the weekly group around the corner from me. We are stretching the budget with my gym pass and can't afford a SW membership- does anyone know if the weekly groups are free or not? Thanks!

no they aren't free, you have to pay to attend unfortunately.

They’re £4.95 a week and it’s £4.95 to join so it would be £9.90 for the first week. You can sometimes get free joining in weekly mags like Woman and Belle x

Blimey, that's a lot more expensive than I thought it would be. Thanks! Think that's made my mind up :)

No worries Smile

What would make you want to go to a group but not follow the plan?

When I did SW a big part of it was having the pressure of being weighed each week. It spurred me on. The group part I rarely stayed for but when I did it was very, very targeted to the SW plan.

@Green to speak to other people, for support, I guess.
