HELP!Bloody taster evening!

Blush So I’ve realised next week is one of the bloody taster evenings where you make/bring your favourite slimming world meal/dessert/snack.

I could do without it! I go to a very small group so cannot get away with not bringing something/just bringing some grapes.

I don’t mind making something but am not an expert cook.

Anyone got any recommendations for an easy dessert to make? Something easy to serve?

Easiest dessert - Eton Mess. Crumble some ready made meringue nests, dollop of fat free Greek yoghurt, frozen (defrosted) summer fruits on top. The meringue nests are about 2 syns though so not totally free.
Or do some overnight oats?

Have you looked at the two chubby cubs website? They do lots and lots of things which are syn free / low in syns and have a section for taster evening too I think.

Adapt the baked oats recipe to make muffins. Double the usual recipe quantity makes 6.

I will research all of these! Thanks!!

We've got one next week too. Ours has to be syn free finger food so I'm doing mini slimming world quiches. Super quick & easy to make & you can do them a couple of days in advance. Just eggs, fat free cottage cheese & then whatever fillings you want, I normally do ham, tomato & mushroom. Stick it in silicone or paper cases in a muffin tin & bake for 25 minutes. Recipe is on slimming world website.

I'm doing hot cross bun baked oats.

But I take a small tub of quark and use a tablespoon of sweetener and mix well then put frozen fruit in and mix about 10 minutes before class then add crushed meringue when taster starts.

Egg muffins are easy too.

I made hummus for our last one, went down very well. Recipe is on the SW website. Trying to think of something else for the next, everything here has been done.
