How much have you lost on SW?

Hi all! So recently I was doing a loose low carb diet, then started the MM blood sugar diet for a little bit and it was really working for me. I've since been advised not to do a low carb diet at the moment, which is disappointing, and my doctor suggested slimming world might be a good way to go.

I'm just curious as to how much you have all lost? I'm thinking if I do do it, I'm not going to allow myself the 15 syns a day as I don't really snack a lot at the moment and I think that will lead to bad habits - I did slimming world a while ago and put on weight, and I think that was why.

I'm so disappointed at having to stop a diet that was getting results, that I could do with hearing some positive SW stories :) I have a stone to lose
Thank you!

@mooncuplanding because I'm TTC after two complicated and unsuccessful pregnancies, and the diet had already started to affect my cycle (which is always very regular thankfully).
Both the doctor and the consulting midwife I'm under recommended I not continue with it for the time being.

I started January 2016 and have lost 5st 9.5lb :)

Many ups and downs, but overall I've really enjoyed it and with a little way still to go (had a 4lb gain last week, and was only half a pound away from achieving my 6 stone award. Gutted!), I've had to really buckle down. It gets so much harder when you're closer to target.

How can cutting out sugar and reducing starchy carbs be bad for you??

Maybe keep the sugar out and add v small amounts of potatoes/ brown rice?

Just as a bit of a tip, if I find myself using my syns on extras that I wouldn't have been eating pre-SW, I make an effort to start using my syns as part of my meals instead. They help me keep variety in my diet.

Breakfast today - raspberries, fat free Greek yoghurt and 1tbsp of choc shot (for an easter sweet fix Wink)

Lunch - King prawn salad, prawns dressed in some sweet chilli dipping sauce.

I suspect my remaining syns will be used on gravy and Yorkshire puddings later!
