Hi I'm Looking for inspiration, there's so many recipes about I don't know where to start. I'm not fussed on some of the weird recipes with quark etc.

Also any nice yougurts that are free or low syns? Looking for something more natural than muller light.

Thanks Smile

Camp fire stew.
Amazing.

jimijack · 14/01/2018 20:22

Oooh and sw chips, delish.

IvorHughJarrs · 14/01/2018 20:24

Try Skyr, the natural one is free so you can have it with fruit , oats, etc, it's nice and creamy and it isn't as sharp as greek yoghurt

Paprika pork and Nacho Style Feast are my favourites.

I make a lasagne with meat sauce and use a syn free cauliflower sauce for the cheese sauce.

It’s fabulous!
None of that stupid eggs and yoghurt topping.

Cajun chicken pasta is a fave of ours:

It uses quark but it works well at thickening it up and you can't taste it at all. It's the first recipe I've liked with quark in.

I like the Danone Light and free yoghurts or the Super fruitii yoghurts. They are both free.

My favorite meals so far are burger and chips - my husband can't actually believe that we can have burger and chips totally syn free!

Dirty rice is also another favorite that we've started having a lot.

My favourite SW meal atm is DIET coke chicken. Quick and easy to make. Love it with loads of veg on the side. Family also likes it.

Popsicle789 · 16/01/2018 12:02

Salt & Pepper chicken thighs was yum! So much flavour

bigkidsdidit · 16/01/2018 12:05

My favourite yogurts are the small skyr pots from Aldi or Asda, with fruit purée. One syn each

sadeyedladyofthelowlands63 · 16/01/2018 17:32

I love their Leek Macaroni Cheese (it does have Quark but is still yummy!).

FuckyNellYaBastad · 17/01/2018 19:32

Total 0% yogurt

citybzg · 17/01/2018 19:35

I just eat real food.

Tonight was salmon, baby potatoes and steamed veggies.

Tidypidy · 17/01/2018 19:40

We love burger in a bowl and Szechuan beef which are both in the fakeaway book

Gammon, egg, SW chips and beans - does not feel like a diet meal! Also cowboy pie and keema curry (which I had tonight) is lovely.

I agree about quark/eggs substitution recipes - they are never as good as the original so I would prefer to save my syns and have proper mac and cheese very occasionally and really really enjoy it than have a bland rubbish version more often.

I think most of your normal recipes can be made slimming world friendly. Substitute tbsp oil for fry light, white breadcrumbs for wholemeal (HE), any jar or packet of sauce broken down and made yourself and add extra veg
