Are sausages free?
Gmex31 · 13/11/2017 17:46
I know certain sausages are free (SW Sausages) but I wondered if all other sausages are too? Thanks
sunshineintheclouds · 13/11/2017 17:48
Haha I wish
No, some are quite low syns but not nice.
The nice ones very very high syns
MyfatheristheKing · 13/11/2017 17:48
No!! I’ve not done SW in a while so I’m sure there are Some random ones that are low syn but when I did it there were no meat syn free ones (apart from sw)
fruityb · 13/11/2017 17:48
No they have a syn value. Heck sausages of certain types are very low syn and chicken sausages or veggie sausages your best bet.
Scribblegirl · 13/11/2017 17:49
Not all sausages alas....

This is old but should help. Unfortunately I'm more of a fan of the veggie sausage (Linda McCartney red onion and rosemary which are free) so I can't recommend a meaty option
Greenteandchives · 13/11/2017 17:51
Heck and M and S low fat ones are only half a syn each. Worth it.
Gmex31 · 13/11/2017 18:24
Oooh I do like a veggie sausage so any suggestions welcome! I usually shop at Aldi so if anyone has any suggestions that’d be great!
Scribblegirl · 13/11/2017 18:26
Most of hers come up as 0.5 syns when I look on the app, owl - think the only free ones are the red onion and rosemary option (which is why I stick to them!)

I made scotch eggs with LM veggie sausages.
Defrost two sausages, squish them flat to make one big rectangle, pop a boiled egg on top, wrap sausage meat round and form into a ball. Put in the oven for 20 mins. Extremely filling!
Groovee · 13/11/2017 20:22
Heck chicken Italia sausages are half a syn per sausage. The paprika chicken is 0.5 syns for 2 sausages.
