Hi all! So on Instagram a lady mentioned about making October all about staying on plan for the whole month! This will be difficult but I am so on it! This is a challenge I am excited to be taking! anyone with me?

Giraffe that's so disheartening!! Is it worth writing everything down? Sometimes it helps me.

I weighed on weds morning and I'd put on 1lb😡 but I had just started the period from hell so I'm hoping it was that as I had been good!

B-banana and a hifi
L-ham, new potatoes,salad and melba toast (2)
D- gammon,egg and asparagus
Stewed Apple with custard (2.5) and a few flaked almonds (1)
I refuse to syn the apple as it wasn't even a full one rebel

Oh I log everything religiously on my fitnesspal - I'm a bit obsessed! My calories have been coming in at 1500-1700 ish which is not low enough for me to lose weight. Sigh.

I just looked at my dinner photos and they don't look very appetising!!GrinGrin

They tasted much better than they looked!!

@Giraffefreckles How annoying!! :( I used to gain weight too even when I was on plan but I realised I was only eating one type of carbs a day like chips or rice, so I started having more of them at lunch and dinner and the weight loss has come down again. It's bizarre how our body reacts though! Hopefully it is just water retention cos like you said you've been on plan x

@buttwingsham them eggs look amazing!! I wish I could do mine like that, mine always look a right mess Blush thanks mother nature! It doesn't make me gain but before I am due on I get water retention so I don't lose weight for weeks then a week after AF finishes I lose all the water weight again (around 3-4lb!) you're doing great Grin I have a really sore throat and cough cos we have all been ill 😷 my son just gotten over a cold, my OH had an infection and I didn't manage dinner yesterday but I was on plan (I just had a banana and apple for breakfast, a roll with 2 southern fried quorn burgers for 5 syn and my hexA cheese), yoghurt and quavers. Nothing else after! Not good I know but just felt so ill my throat hurt too much to eat food xx

So many germs flying around 😷 hope I can avoid picking anything up, not least because my tendency is to feed a cold Blush

So today I had th usual eggs for breakfast, with spinach. Lunch is a mug of bone broth and a banana with yoghurt and cinnamon

Thanks mittens I hope you feel better soonFlowers I have 4dc and it feels like one cold after another from September to March!

It was gorgeous cold sunny morning here today so I took the dog for a long walk, when I got home I was starving so had a full English breakfast. That kept me going until this evening when we had pot roasted leg of lamb,mash and broccoli.

Well I was more on plan this week than last few, no wine or takeaways and avoided all the cakes in work. However I had an extra HebB a few days as I was craving bread so much!
Just about to go weigh in so fingers crossed it hasn’t had too much effect ...

Hello :) I got back from an all inclusive holiday earlier this week and have been 100% on plan since then, for once! Aiming to get to target by Christmas.

Had baked oats and banana for breakfast, then lunch will be soup and omelette. Not sure what to have for dinner!

I lost 1lb! So that’s me back at my original goal weight - very happy!

Had an off plan veggie lasagne last night and the leftovers today but other than that I’m sticking to plan!

We're having macaroni cheese with some chorizo sweetcorn and red onion thrown in :) will be slightly over on syns today as my dad made cheesecake and brought it round but that's a rare occasion so I don't mind. Going to stay on plan and just be flexible.

Hi 👋 can I join please? I'd love to have some more weight off by Christmas, aiming for a stone but would be happy with getting in to my next stone bracket.
Weighed in this morning, decided to change from fri weigh in to Monday in the hope it will keep me from straying at the weekend! Here's hoping anyway!!

Hello @Jennywallpaper of course you can welcome to on plan october challenge lol! Hows it going for you? For me So far still on plan. I have saved all of my syns so tonight I am having a homemade Indian curry that my oh made which has oil but shouldn't be too many syns as he didn't use a lot but just to be on the safe side! Hope everyone is doing well so far x

I'm quite new to SW so still getting the gang of it! Hoping to lose a stone by xmas and also got a wedding in November so be good to have shifted a bit of weight by then :)

is there any good books to buy to show syns in most common stuff? Like before I have anything i'm ending up googling the syns which is annoying haha. but is it just something u start to learn over time? :)

Thanks @Mittens92 today was going well, I even turned down a Chinese but then ended up eating some of DH leftovers 😩 it wasn't a lot but i should have had more willpower.
Anyway tomorrow is another day and I will be 100%. I hope you enjoyed your curry!

Well on it October hasn’t happened! Last weekend I went off plan Friday, Saturday and Sunday and then this week I went out for dinner, had a 3 course Indian meal with wine 🙈

Back on plan yesterday but have put on 3lbs so going to have to work hard to get that back off!

So I’m on it for the remainder of October!

@dancemom diwali come and went and I also indulged a little bit of Indian sweeties! :( I have gained a lb but I think it is due to almost being star week cos i know I gain 2-3lb worth of bloat for a couple of weeks then I lose it all at once a few days after my period finishes ! Never mind ay ! I was eating them lunchables which is 14.5 syns I think and I actually stopped almost half way through and decided I actually didn't want to eat them and ruin my whole day / feeling like poo! So as of this morning, I've used all of my syns! So glad I didn't eat the whole lot & theres a huge packet of walkers ready salted crisps ready to eat ☹️ but I am NOT going to do it!!! Xx
