Ideas for lunch and dinner

Hi all- sorry if this has been done to death already! I joined SW a few years ago and struggled with lunch and dinners. I am a big bread fan! I don't really like the bread that you get "free" on the plan. So I was wondering what people have for their lunches/dinners? I tried to save all my Syns the last time I was on the plan (for treats) and not have them for lunches/dinners but found this hard to maintain as I was just have variations of sandwiches (with awful bread) for my lunch and tomato based pasta for my dinner-I got fed up pretty quickly! Does anyone have any low syn or no syn ideas? I do like salads but generally only with dressings. Maybe I am asking for too much! Thank-you in advance. Ps- I have two stone to lose.

If I'm working, I tend to do things like soup or salad for lunch as I get 30 minutes and it goes quickly. I don't want to waste time having to cook.

At home I use batchelors pasta n sauce, so chicken and mushroom and Pesto are free. I usually add mushrooms and spinach for speed. Omelettes as quick and easy. Baked potatoes with tuna and red onion.

I'm hoping to make egg muffins this term and take them for lunches with salad or make a pasta salad or cous cous with roasted veggies.

Dinners I make are spaghetti Bolognese, Pork or Chicken Jambalaya, pasta with mushrooms, bacon and peas, curries, stir fries, roasts, nacho Style Feast, Cajun chicken pasta, pasta with bacon and mushrooms, paprika Pork, fajitas.

I use 4-6 eggs and whisk them up with salt and pepper. Then put in free or speed foods like spring onion, ham and spinach into a silicon muffin tray. Pour the eggs over and bake on 160 for 20-25 minutes. I often do them the night before x

Ratatouille - aubergine, courgette, pepper, onion in a spicy, garlicky tomato sauce.

Home made vegetable jalfrezi (just go easy on the oil/butter)

Oh wow lol I didn't realise Bachelors pasta n sauce are free! 😮 I'm going to buy some today Smile

@monkeytoad35 not all are free. The 2 I mentioned are. The cheese based ones have syns. Best to check online.

Thanks Groovee I checked online and I've bought a few with no syns. The chicken and mushroom one was nice with a bit of HEA grated cheese on the top Smile
