SW Lunches

I'm contemplating signing up for slimming world. I gather bread is limited, and so are eggs. What sorts of things do SW people eat for lunch? I can access a microwave some days at work, but some days need to eat food prepared before I left home. Also, I need a decent lunch or I eat crap in the afternoon.

Eggs are free (not chocolate ones sadly)

I usually make a big, interesting salad with chicken, hardboiled eggs, or tuna, and a yogurt or some fruit. Sometimes have cold pasta with Teso's tomato and basil quark stirred into it. You could always have the much loathed Mugshot!

A small jacket potato with tuna or beans. A sandwich on brown bread. Salad. Pasta. There's loads of choices. Eggs are free but you probably don't want to eat more than a couple a day.

I love my carbs and i managed to lose over 2 stone on SW. Just watch your portion sizes and steer clear of low fat, high sugar yoghurts and stuff. Processed sugar is bad.

Lots of cous cous salad or pasta salad.

I make these in a batch and have a couple with salad / couscous a couple of times a week: spforveggies.blogspot.co.uk/2017/07/pepper-quiches.html Yum!

I have either salad (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, ham and a boiled egg with balsamic vinegar) or a mugshot and fruit. Not very exciting but fills me up
