not sure if SW is for me...

I've done so many diets and failed, including SW but now wondering if I should give it a go again. My mum is pushing me to as I have about 5 stone to lose.

However, I'm a terrible cook plus I can't be bothered with all the time it takes to cook. I work full time and hubby and I arrive home at different times so I don't want to be cooking two separate meals from scratch (he needs to lose weight too).

We are also both very fussy eaters. I don't like pasta, pizza, fish, cheese, or most vegetables. He hates fish, eggs, nuts, anything with a visible bone.

I tried eating slimming world burgers once - urgh it was like cardboard literally. I've also tried eating SW approved foods but there's just no taste to it.

I also hate the 'oh well done clap clap clap' cheesiness of going to classes and the fact you get asked to tell the group how you did that week even when they know you've gained. (this was previous "award winning" SW consultant who never bothered giving me any support).

I've tried WW and lost 2 stone on it until they switched to this new low sugar, lots of vegetables version.

Basically I don't want to feel like I'm on a diet and want something that is piss easy to do, minimum hassle. I also have short lunch breaks with no microwave but I'm sick of sandwiches!

I know I sound like I don't want to diet but I do, I just can't find something that works for me.

Eat this:

Breakfast - 4 rashers (grilled), and 2 or 3 eggs, fried in butter, black coffee, with or without a sweetener

Lunch: pile of salad leaves, John West tuna pot with chilli, or chipotle, or (oh gawd, this involves cooking) a few eggs mashed up with mayo

Dinner (sorry cooking again!): lump of steak or a pork chop, or a walloping great lump of salmon, smothered in butter, steamed broccoli and cauliflower. Make a sauce from cream, parmesan cheese and garlic, plus lots of black pepper, and pour it over everything. Add mushrooms or sliced courgettes, fried in butter.

Snacks: Babybel or pepperami, fresh strawberries or raspberries, with clotted cream if you feel the need.

Other drinks: water, sparkling water, diet fizzy stuff + a spirit if you have to.

Do that every day for a month, and you will lose weight.
