First week back on sw & lost 7lbs 👍🏻

Delighted! I've done sw twice over the last three years, attending the groups. Just come back off holiday last wknd and almost cried looking at the photos.

I'm 5'6" and after losing 3 stone after the birth of my 2nd child, I was back up to 11st 8lbs. My comfy weight is 10st but haven't been this weight for two years. Boo.

Ate my head off on holiday and drank like a fish so felt very bloated aside from the roly-poly photos.

I've been really strict this week and drank a mother-tonne of water. All breakfasts were overnight oats, lunches were salads, if peckish between lunch & tea I had a cupshot or once, noodles with beansprouts. Each dinner exactly as out of the sw cook books (husband and children have enjoyed too). In the evening I usually pig out; family sized crisps or chocolate, instead had 2 hifi light bars. At the wknd I treated myself to a few gin & slimline tonics as syns.

I slipped twice. One day ate 16 cornflake cakes. One day had take away curry (with boiled rice & no naan) and a couple more g&ts than my syns allowed.

But yep, 7lbs lost and I am revved up to lose that stone now. Sick of feeling squashed in my clothes and still looking several months pregnant from the side.

Hope this helps any body else out there.

But gutted you can only get hifi bars at the groups unless you want to spend ££££ on eBay 🙄

Well done you!! Fantastic loss. I've just started again and lost 1st 5lbs since end of may. Well chuffed. And like you, I'm a g&t girl. Have you tried the chocolate alpen light bars? They have been my saviour for a 'b' choice.

Oh excellent recommendation thank you, are all Alpen light bars the same as hifi bars like 3 syns per bar and 2x for healthy b option?

Congratulations on your weight loss, that's excellent! If I could lose as much that quickly I'd be overjoyed and just happy to maintain/keep it off. Have you stuck to it strictly? Any more tips?

Yes. Alpen bars same as hi fi for syns and b choice. And bigger which I like. I think they are not as rich, but I really like them.

I have stuck to it, but not because I was after a knighthood Grin, but because I have been full, really enjoyed what I've had and didn't really want anything else!

If I want a 'naughty' tea, The slimming world frozen burgers I like (don't usually eat burgers but there you go) bread bap healthy b, and that plastic processed cheese slices (wouldn't usually eat) 1.5 syns for the light ones. 2 quarter pounder burgers in the bap. With cheese. Plate full of SW chips. Salad. Lovely. And very full after! All for 1.5 syns.

I keep my fridge and cupboards full of free food I like, rather than munching on celery all day.

Oh and the fruit flavoured quark, (Arla brand and Aldi have a version as well) is lovely and creamy and again very filling. That's 0.5-1 syn per 200g tub. With a load of strawberries or what ever.

Crisps, I've had space raiders. 3 syns.

I guess what I'm trying to say is I keep myself full up on food I genuinely enjoy, with as little syns as possible because I like my grub and I eat loads. Have stopped eating stuff the kids leave. Oh and have a syn free curry ready at home for after a night on the g&t GinWink (I have done this many times and I can recommend it! )
