Hi all
I'm hoping you might be able to share some of your wisdom with me please. Sorry if this is a bit long but I just can't see the wood for the trees at the moment!
I started SW in March last year & between then & May I lost the weight I intended to in preparation for TTC (1st 3lb). I then became pregnant that month & over the course of the pregnancy put that weight back on (plus a bit more). I wasn't too concerned about this as I intended to start SW again some time after the birth.
My baby is now 10 weeks old (EMCS-don't know if relevant to postpartum weight loss). I have been following SW for 3 weeks & have only lost 1lb. I am combining breast & bottle feeding & am going out for walks of between 30 mins & 2 hours every day. I'm averaging 9-12 syns a day. I'm not attending group as cannot afford it so just trying to do it at home. By this point in SW last year I had lost over half a stone.
I am keeping a food diary & have referred to my diaries from last year, & just can't see where I'm going wrong. A typical day:
Breakfast-porridge or weetabix (healthy A & B) topped with apple or strawberries
Snack-fat free cottage cheese, ham, tomato, cucumber
Lunch-homemade leek & potato soup (just leeks, potatoes, onion, garlic, water) with some soup pasta added
Snack-fat free yoghurt & fruit
Dinner-chicken/pork/gammon/fish with huge pile of green veg (usually spinach, kale, spring greens, broccoli, cabbage), small amount of carbs (potato or rice)
Syns normally used on something sweet in the evening (at the moment I am portioning out my one Easter egg)
I've got a big event mid June which I had hoped to lose the weight for but I can't see that happening now! Is there anything obvious I am missing? Thank you so much for any advice!
