Please tell me about SW meetings

I currently go to WW meetings and thinking I need a change - weigh in lasts for half an hour and then there is a 20-30 min talk. What are the SW meetings like please and how long should I allow (does this depend on how many attend?)

I see there is a morning near me that does 3 meetings 7.30am, 9.30 & 11.30 - are the meetings 2 hours or is this to allow the consultant a break? many thanks

The full meeting is normally about 1.5 hours. The first half hour is weighing then up to an hour of talking but this will depend how big the group is. So if you went to the 9.30 group you could turn up at 9.55 and probably be away by 11.

I am normally about an hour and 15 minutes. Consultant tries to wrap up by 6.45pm for her 7.30 class arriving.

Mine was about 1.5 hours I found it far too long so never stayed managed to lose the weight I needed even with giving the meeting a miss. I ma at target now and do weigh in every week because the discipline of that keeps me on track. If you get what you are meant to do not sure why you need to sit for an hour listening to everyone else dissect the reason why they might not be losing weight

I do find staying to meetings at WW helps me stay on track I don't just want to weigh and go but I have been going for years and years now and although not over WW goal, am heavier than I want to be and could happily lose 7-10 pounds but just so bored with WW and the same leaders etc etc just thought perhaps a change would give me a fresh bit of mojo
